To keep in touch with those who do not live close by... I guess being a baby from an immigrant couple is not an easy task, and mom and dad have already let me know that I have no other option but be a computer/tech nerd. Enjoy!

I am 4!!!

had a very special day yesterday. Started the day off with my favorite breakie: homemade belgium waffles, fresh berries and whipped cream. Had a small celebration with cupcakes and small goodie bags with my school friends snd teachers. Had my favorite dinner, pizza, with his best friend, Caio. After dinner, we went to Mastermind for choosing my birthday present (at which point mom questioned herself if it was a good idea: 4-year-old, almost bedtime, in a toy store!) At the end of the day, I spoke to some friends and family who live away and felt very loved. ❤️❤️❤️a great, special day to celebrate my life.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

Enjoy some pictures from my special day, along with some still pictures from videos I received from my dear family in Brazil.

Meu pequeno, ainda sem nome, me dava sinais q estava pronto, e aquilo me confortava.

Playing family with mommy

I rarely play with my dolly. I mostly play with my cars, trucks, trains. Every now and then, I play family with my mommy, as she is not into cars as much. Today I decided to take Flor, my dolly, camping, and i was the father of three children, my mom, dad and Flor. I fed them healthy food and they could only have dessert after finishing their plate. 😬

Trip to Chicago

This May long-weekend, mom, dad and I took a trip to Chicago. Mom had a 2-day course in the city, and we drove a couple of days earlier to visit the windy City. I had a blast.

ON our first day (half a day), we started exploring the Magnificent Mile, Navy pier and ended at the Hancock Tower for a view of the city skyline. I loved it! At the Navy Pier, mom and I rode the carrousel and I had the famous Rainbow ice-cream. Our day ended with the famous deep-dish pizza at Giordano's.

Our second day was dedicated to explore the downtown core, Millennium Park with the famous Bean Sculpture, and the pretty awesome park for kids, where, by the way, I got lost. There were way too many kids at the park, and I took off to a different play structure without telling my parents. They pretty quickly realized I went missing, and luckily found me quickly. Our day ended at an really great Italian Restaurant, Quartino. Mom and dad said it was the best Italian cuisine they have had outside of Italy.

My third and fourth days was dedicated to a boys-time, as mom stayed at her course. Dad and I took the subway and we went to Field Museum and Planetarium. I loved both of these places. At the end of the fourth day, mom met us at the planetarium, and we went to the 12th beach and for a walk along the water and the Grant Park, where we ate the famous Chicago Hot Dogs.

Now we are packed up and ready to head back to our home sweet home.
